Secretary of Labor assumes jurisdiction over the renegotiation of the economic provisions of the 2020-2025 Collective Bargaining Agreement between CEU Management and the CEU-Faculty and Allied Workers Union (CEU FAWU)

The management of Centro Escolar University received an Order dated 06 February 2024 from Hon. Bienvenido E. Laguesma, Secretary of Labor and Employment, assuming jurisdiction over the labor matter between CEU Management and the CEU-Faculty and Allied Workers Union (CEU FAWU), in particular, the renegotiation of the economic provisions of the 2020-2025 Collective Bargaining Agreement, which reached a bargaining deadlock.

In the same Order, the parties are instructed to appear at a conference on 13 February 2024.

Normal operations and classes continue in the University.
