Subject of the Disclosure
Statement of Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation on the fire incident at 102 Laguna Blvd. Laguna Technopark Sta. Rosa Laguna on December 13, 2023.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
Around 6:00 am, December 13, 2023, fire broke in Panasonic Washing Machine and Electric Fan Factory.  The incident happened prior the start of the working time and few employees are present in the area. All are confirmed safe.  Fire respondents arrived on-site to control the spread, though authorities have not yet declared “fire out”, situation have already been controlled The Fireman declared 3:30PM as fire out.  Nonetheless, cause of fire still needs to be investigated and recovery measures will be immediately implemented.  PMPC Management would like to assure employees and business partners, that the situation is under control, and we will proceed to normal operation for the affected factory as soon possible.
