Please be informed that the Board of Directors of BDO Unibank, Inc. (the “Bank”), at its regular meeting held today, August 25, 2023, approved the promotion of the following senior officers:

MR. GUEVARRA is the Chief of Staff under the Office of the President. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1989. Mr. Guevarra has been with the Bank for twenty-two (22) years.

MR. ALVAREZ is the Region Head of Southern Luzon under Branch Banking Group. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting from Ateneo De Naga University in 1985. Mr. Alvarez has been with the Bank for nineteen (19) years.

MR. HO is the Deputy Head of Commercial Banking, Visayas-Mindanao under Institutional Banking Group. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from Ateneo De Manila University in 1997. Mr. Ho has been with the Bank for almost twenty (20) years.

MR. LUALHATI is the Head of Enterprise Architecture under Information Technology Group. He earned his degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with specialization in Computer Technology from De La Salle University, Manila in 1997. Mr. Lualhati has been with the Bank for five (5) years.

MR. LADRIDO is the Head of Cash Services under Central Operations Group. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1992. Mr. Ladrido has been with the Bank for almost fourteen (14) years.

MS. ONG is the Unit Head of Corporate Banking under Institutional Banking Group. She finished her degree in Bachelor of Science in Management of Financial Institutions from De La Salle University, Manila in 1991 and earned her Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1999. Ms. Ong has been with the Bank for twenty-four (24) years.

MS. UYLIAPCO is the Region Head of Metro Manila West under Branch Banking Group. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Accounting from the College of the Holy Spirit, Manila in 1984 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Uyliapco has been with the Bank for twenty (20) years.

The effectivity of their promotion is February 1, 2023, provided that the assumption to their position be subject to confirmation by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
