Update on the Joint Venture of ib vogt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and ACEN Renewables International Pte Ltd.
Background/Description of the Disclosure
By way of update to the 4 April 2022 press release/disclosure on ib vogt’s and ACEN’s (through its subsidiary, ACEN Renewables International Pte Ltd, hereafter “ACRI”) agreement to set up a platform to fund large-scale solar power plants in Asia, please be advised that on 18 August 2023, with all regulatory approvals and conditions having been satisfied, ACRI and ib vogt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. declared effective the Shareholders’ Agreement for their joint venture company, IBV ACEN Renewables Asia Pte. Ltd. The joint venture will focus on shovel-ready projects in Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other countries in the Asia Pacific region, with a minimum target operational capacity of 1,000 MW.
