Seventh Amendment of the Revised Concession Agreement
Background/Description of the Disclosure
We wish to inform the Exchange that a seventh Amendment to the Revised Concession Agreement between the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (“MWSS”) and Manila Water Company, Inc. (“MWC”) dated March 31, 2021 (“RCA”) was signed by the parties on May 10, 2023 (notarized copy was received by MWC on May 11, 2023). The parties agreed that the RCA and the other amended provisions shall be deemed effective as of June 29, 2022, with the Republic issuing a new Undertaking Letter effective as of July 1, 2022. A copy of the seventh Amendment to the RCA will be uploaded in the Company’s website. Thank you.
