Background/Description of the Disclosure
On 5 January 2024, and pursuant to the regular cash dividend declaration of Megawide Construction Corporation (the “Company”) for its Series 4 Preferred Shares (MWP4) with a payment date of 29 January of each year, the Company’s Board of Directors (“Board”) has set 22 January 2024 as the record date and 29 January 2024 as the payment date. The cash dividend is equal to PhP1.325 per share, or a total of PhP53,000,000.00, out of the unrestricted retained earnings of the Company as of 31 December 2023. As provided in page 16 of the Prospectus for the Series 4 Preferred Shares (MWP4) of the Company dated 08 October 2021, cash dividends shall be payable on 29 January, 29 April, 29 July, and 29 October of each year.
