Background/Description of the Disclosure

Please be informed that during its regular meeting held this afternoon, 03 January 2024, the Board of Directors of China Banking Corporation (the "Bank") took up, approved, confirmed and/or ratified the following matters:

1. 2024 Rules Governing the Nomination and Election of Directors, with Nomination Form, setting 02 February 2024 as the deadline for nominations of directors and independent directors for election at the 2024 Annual Stockholders' Meeting.

2. Secondment of the following employees of the Bank currently under the Business Process Management Division to Bank subsidiary, CBC Properties & Computer Center, Inc. (PCCI) effective 01 January 2024, in line with organizational changes in order to ensure synergy, uniformity and consistency in the decision-making related to IT projects:
