As part of an internal reorganization of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation ("RCBC"), it has informed Ionics Inc. that it will terminate the services of its Stock Transfer Department effective December 31, 2023 and has requested Ionics Inc. to engage RCBC Trust Corporation as stock transfer agent effective January 1, 2024. The foregoing will be subject to the formal approval of the Board of Directors in its next meeting.

Other Relevant Information
Ionics Inc. was informed by RCBC - Stock Transfer Department that the application for secondary license as transfer agent of RCBC Trust Corporation may extend beyond the target effectivity date of 1 January 2024. In that regard, the earlier disclosure was amended to change to "TBA" the following information: 1. Effective Date of Termination of RCBC - Stock Transfer Department; 2. Date of Engagement of RCBC Trust Corporation; and 3. Effective Date of Engagement of RCBC Trust Corporation. Ionics Inc. will disclose in due course the new effectivity date of the engagement of RCBC Trust Corporation following the latter's completion of all its regulatory requirements.
