This refers to the request to clarify the news article entitled "Ayala signs P5B landmark sustainability-linked loans" from Malaya Business Insight (Online Edition) on December 13, 2023, it was reported in part that: “Ayala Corp. said it signed a P5-billion sustainability-linked credit facilities with MUFG Bank Ltd. (MUFG) and Sun Life Philippines it will use for general corporate requirements and investments in sustainability-related projects. . . . .” We confirm the information in the news article. Ayala signed a P5.0 Billion credit facility with MUFG and Sunlife as part of its normal course of business, in line with its sustainability financing initiatives.
