Background/Description of the Disclosure
Please be informed that at its meeting today, 18 October 2023, the Board of Directors of Filinvest Land, Inc. (“FLI”) approved the following: 1. Compensation Committee Charter; and 2. Appointment of Ms. Arazeli L. Malapad as the new Chief Audit Executive (“CAE”) of FLI vice Mr. Michael Louie T. Garado who served as the (Acting) CAE. Ms. Malapad, 55, Filipino, has 32 years of extensive experience in the fields of Audit (i.e. internal controls, financial and operation audits), Management Reporting, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Treasury and Cash Management, General Accounting, Revenue and Cost Accounting and Tax Compliance. Prior to joining Filinvest, she was the CAE of Concepcion Industrial Corporation and has served the Aboitiz Equity Ventures Group in various capacities, among other work accomplishments. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), graduating from The Institute of Internal Auditors, NY; Certified Management Accountant (CMA) of The Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia; and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Ms. Malapad completed the Leadership and Management Development Program in the Ateneo de Manila University, Graduate School of Business where she was accorded the Director’s Award for Academic Excellence.
