DOE awards new Geothermal Service Contract to APC Group Inc. through Aragorn Power and Energy Corporation
Background/Description of the Disclosure
On July 13, 2023, APC Group Inc. (APC) through its subsidiary Aragorn Power and Energy Corporation (APEC) has been officially awarded by the Department of Energy (DOE) a new Geothermal Service Contract namely Southwest Kalinga Geothermal Power Project. The new contract is situated in the municipalities of Pasil, Lubuagan and Tingalyan, province of Kalinga. This new contract will allow for an exploration period of 7 years. Ian Jason R. Aguirre, APC President said: “We continue to remain committed to support our country’s objective to develop renewable energy and help improve the lives of our host community”
