The company aimed to generate funds for general corporate purposes and as such, the board approved on April 27, 2023, the sale of 51,897,858 treasury shares equivalent to 1% of its outstanding shares. Pursuant to this, FNI sold in the market today, April 28, 2023, a total of 51,897,858 FNI common shares at the market price of P2.50 per share. Today is the first and last day of the offer as there are no more treasury shares available for sale.
